BookEnds is seeking Southern California schools and nonprofit youth organizations that have a proven commitment to improving the literacy of their students. Due to the demand for book donations, BookEnds has a grant application process to evaluate potential recipients. We are looking for organizations that have the talent, energy and enthusiasm to use our books to turn children into readers. We also ask our grantees to be creative in developing simple events that encourage reciprocity between our student donors and recipients.

- Organizations that bring education to children in homeless shelters

- To vitalize or restore library shelves
- To establish classroom libraries to ensure that every child has sufficient, exciting books to learn to read
